Midvale Plex Apartment Complex Project

We were tasked with providing the structural engineering for the 24 Plex Apartment Complex in Midvale, Utah. This complex is three stories tall and contains 24 distinct apartment units, and we needed to ensure it was designed to fit the latest International Building Code in seismic design. To do this, we utilized the CAD software Revit Structures, which is a physical and analytical modeling program that uses Building Information Modeling design. It was a fun project—and definitely challenging!
